Jose Fonte who happens to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s team mate in Portugal’s national team has disclosed that, the Juventus striker is always open for a return to the La Liga club which happens to be no other team thanReal Madrid, Mirror reports. Cristiano who completed a £100million move to Juventus in 2018 having spent nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu side winning quite a number of trophies.
Reports has it that Ronaldo is still in love with his former club despite starting to settle at his new club Juventus. Jose Fonte in an interview disclosed that he would not be surprised if Ronaldo returns to Madrid, saying Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in the world.
This is what he had to say about Ronaldo;
“I know he loves Madrid, that’s for sure,”Fonte told talkSPORT.
“It’s clear that he loves the club itself, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest.
“He’s left many, many friends there and he’s always left the door open. “So I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back to Real Madrid.”
